Why did you join Wetherby Musical Theatre Group?
I had always wanted to be part of a theatre group and I was introduced to WMTG by a friend Dave Gill, it was great, as no audition was necessary and I was made very welcome.
What’s your earliest memory of Wetherby Musical Theatre Group?
My first show was a cabaret, which we performed in Kirk Deighton Village Hall, which I thoroughly enjoyed and we sold out!
What has been your favourite show you have seen/been in?
It is difficult to choose, I have enjoyed our pantomimes, as I often have a few lines of script, but of course The Full Monty was a great show to be part of, and we girls had such fun buying and wearing our costumes!
What has been your favourite memory so far?
There are so many choose from, we have so much fun with every show, I think I will have to choose playing Tibia ( the skeleton butler) in the wizard of Oz.
What show would you like to see the group put on in the future?
I am happy with any show as long as it is good for the group, sometimes we do a show that isn’t that well known, such as Nunsense which was a great success, so I think it is good to try new things.
