We had a good turn out this week for out music workshop for Return to the Forbidden Planet on Tuesday night. The workshop was led by our fab musical director, Nick Eastwood.
As many of us haven’t sung together since Panto back in October, the first section of the rehearsal was spent warming up and practicing harmonies. We slotted back into them quicker than we all thought we could!!
We then had a whistle stop tour of all the music in Return to the Forbidden Planet, stopping at some of the audition pieces to give us all a good feel of how they go. Of course with the music being so popular it didn’t take us long to get to know the tunes!
Tuesday 18th April is an opportunity to come to down and practice those all important audition pieces with Chris and Nick ready for the panel!
